<div>My name is Judith Pazmino, and I am reaching out to ask for your kindness and support for my niece Chelsea Pazmino, her partner George, and their newborn baby Niko during this very difficult time.

<div>Baby Niko was born on October 8th through an emergency C-section after unexpected complications; he was not in the correct position, which caused Chelsea’s water to break prematurely. Unfortunately, little Niko was born with serious respiratory complications and is unable to breathe on his own. He was transferred to Yale Hospital in New Haven, where he has been receiving intensive care since October 9th.

<div>Despite the doctors’ tireless efforts and the family’s constant prayers, Niko is still in the hospital and is expected to remain there until at least mid December. The situation has placed a heavy emotional and financial stress on Chelsea and George, as their medical bills and insurance copays continue to grow.

<div>That is why I am humbly asking for your help; any contribution, big or small, will make a difference in helping this young family through these challenging times. Your generosity will go directly toward Niko’s medical care and support for his parents as they remain by his side.

<div>Mi nombre es Judith Pazmiño, y hoy deseo pedirles con el corazón su ayuda y apoyo para mi sobrina Chelsea Pazmiño, su pareja George, y su bebé Niko, quienes están atravesando un momento muy difícil.

<div>El pequeño Niko nació el 8 de octubre por una cesárea de emergencia, ya que no estaba en la posición correcta y esto provocó que se rompiera la fuente de su mamá. Lamentablemente, Niko nació con complicaciones respiratorias y no puede respirar por sí mismo. Debido a su delicado estado, fue trasladado al Hospital Yale en New Haven, donde ha estado recibiendo cuidados intensivos desde el 9 de octubre.

<div>A pesar de los esfuerzos de los médicos y las constantes oraciones de la familia, Niko aún no mejora y deberá permanecer hospitalizado, por lo menos hasta mediados de diciembre. Esta situación ha sido muy dura emocionalmente y también económicamente, ya que los copagos del seguro y los gastos médicos siguen aumentando.
