Nach dem großartigen Erfolg im Jahr 2022 – damals kehrte das Orchester mit Gold zurück – ist klar: Die Messlatte liegt hoch. Und gleichzeitig beginnt alles wieder bei null. Denn 2026 bedeutet: neue Konkurrenz, neue Herausforderung, neues Level.

<div>Der World Music Contest gilt als die Weltmeisterschaft der Blasorchester. Seit 1951 treffen sich hier alle vier Jahre die besten Ensembles der Welt.

<div>Der Transport nach Kerkrade. Ein sinfonisches Blasorchester reist nicht mit Handgepäck. Instrumente, Equipment, Musiker – all das muss sicher und gemeinsam ankommen. Für eine dreitägige Reise mit großem Orchester bedeutet das: Ein Bus ist zwingend notwendig – aber aktuell nicht finanziert. Und genau hier beginnt die Geschichte hinter dem Slogan: „Wir sind bereit, jetzt fehlt der Bus!“
