The pictures above are some of the grateful faces of those who have received the love and the charity from Andre House of Hospitality
All of us have, at some time in our lives, been homeless. I do not mean house-less. I dare say most of us who read this message have never been without a place to live. What I do mean, is all of us have had the gloomy feeling of being alone or of being unloved. It is a feeling that may last only a few moments, intermittent periods of time or a lifetime. It is a feeling we live to avoid. It is impossible for us to not see the homelessness in people’s eyes who, for whatever reason, live on the streets in our country today. They are just like all of us, but less fortunate. Many fit the expression, “down and out.”
One of the places that sees the eyes of the homeless every day is the Andre House of Hospitality
in Phoenix Arizona. It is a place where the people who have no place to call home, can go to avoid that feeling of being alone and unloved. It is a place where there is love through charity. It serves thousands of homeless people each year with the things they need to survive the winters.
This winter, the Knights of Columbus, is assisting with this charitable “GoFundMe” to provide love in the form of sleeping bags, blankets, clothing and other items requested by Andre House. We are asking for donations of money, so we can purchase and deliver an abundance of needed items to them. Your donation of any amount will help us to achieve this charitable goal. May God Bless You.
