Winter Gear For Dogs Of Montreal Homeless

Donation protected
While scrolling through the news first thing Saturday morning I read a heart breaking article describing a Montreal homeless man's desperate struggle to find warmth for his Doberman named Buddy. Christian tried desperately to gain access to Berri-UQAM metro, but it was closed and he was refused access. Buddy passed in his arms shortly after.

My heart goes out to Christian and wish I could have shared something we all take for granted. Warmth.

I am trying to raise $2500 with the intention of helping out 25 Montreal individuals who have a dog but either lack shelter or the means to ensure their furry friend stays warm this winter.

The $100 per individual will be spent on a dog jacket, dog boots, hand warmers (https://hothands.com/), survival blanket (https://shop.heatsheets.com/) as well a toque and gloves for the dogs owner.

I will be accepting donations of dog food, dog treats, blankets, gloves, hats, winter coats and anything else to assist our furry friends and their owners this winter.

With the assistance of a Montreal outreach program, items purchased and donations will be given directly to the dogs and their owners.
