Winter Auto Accident

Brad is one of the good ones. He has been a friend of mine for over five years, stood alongside me in my wedding, and is one of the most generous people I know. He is the type of guy always willing to buy you a drink, the first to give a housewarming present, and has, in the past several years, given me for free much of his old ski equipment, including an expensive set of skis.

Recently though, Brad has had sustained unfortunate luck. Due to COVID, he has struggled with unemployment off and on this year. At the same time, his unemployment benefits at the state had been held up due to the high demand, leading to him being unable to afford car insurance. This past weekend, while driving on a winter night down a snowy road, Brad's new Jeep Grand Cherokee spun out of control and crashed into a rock, totaling the vehicle. Fortunately no one was injured, but since insurance is not covering, Brad is now on the hook for over $20,000 in car payments for a car he can no longer use.  

I am starting this Gofundme and asking for money for my good friend, to help him buy a used car so that he at least has a vehicle, and to do what we can to contribute in any way to his outstanding car payments. Anything you can give would be appreciated.
