Hi, my name is Kimberly, and this fundraiser is for our sweet dog, Winston — lovingly known as Winnie. Winnie is only one year old, and for the last 6 months he has been very sick. What started as diarrhea, hair loss, blood in his stool, and weight loss turned into months of vet visits, tests, medications, special food, enzymes, supplements, antibiotics, and X-rays. We have been to multiple vets and have already spent thousands of dollars trying to find answers while watching our happy puppy become thin, frail, and exhausted.

After a long and emotional search, Winston finally tested positive for two serious fungal infections: histoplasmosis and coccidioides, also known as Valley Fever. We are relieved to finally know what we are fighting, but treatment will be a long road. Winnie will need antifungal medication, continued bloodwork, liver monitoring, recheck appointments, and ongoing care.

We created this fundraiser because so many kind people asked if there was a way to help with his vet bills. Any funds raised will go directly toward Winston’s medical care and treatment. Please do not feel any pressure to give. Your prayers, encouragement, advice, and love for Winnie already mean more than we can say.
