Winsor IFV Round 2

Donation protected
For those of you who know Amber and Kody Winsor, you are aware of the journey they have been on to have a baby. After several years of trying, they decided to seek the help of fertility specialists. One doctor in particular was able to really help the Winsors and submitted their story to an IVF foundation. It was a long shot but Amber and Kody were selected by the foundation and a good portion of their first round of IVF was funded! We started a Go Fund Me to cover the cost of the medications that are required for IVF and were blown away by the love and support shown to this amazing couple!
The first round of ICSI (a type of IVF) was successful. 10 days after the embryo transfer, Amber and Kody got the call. After 4 plus years of negative pregnancy tests and waiting, they were expecting for the first time! The long journey to baby Winsor seemed to be getting shorter.
At 6.5 weeks, they were so excited to hear their little baby’s heart beating strong. However, they were pulled into the doctor’s private office and told that their baby was not the size it should be at this stage. After leaving the clinic, Amber said she had the “feeling like we got punched in the gut. We tried to talk ourselves up and stay hopeful until the 7 week scan”.
A week later, Amber and Kody went back to the doctor and the ultrasound showed no heartbeat. The baby had stopped progressing. Of course the Winsors were heartbroken. However, they have not given up hope. They still have 2 embryos and are ready to try again.
The Winsors are so touched by the doctors, nurses, friends, and family who have reached out and shown their love and support. They are especially grateful for the donations that have helped them get this far in the IVF process. The foundation they were selected for was such a blessing but only covered the first IVF cycle.
We are starting this second Go Fund Me to help the Winsors with round two. This round is not nearly as expensive as the first, but it is still a lot to cover. The cost of the frozen embryo transfer, including ultrasounds, blood work, thaw, and transfer, is $2850. The total cost of medications is between $700-$800. The goal is to raise $3650 by October to help Amber and Kody try again.
Hearts have ached and tears have been shed by many for this wonderful couple. Amber and Kody will make incredible parents and I cannot think of a couple more deserving than them. They have demonstrated so much hope and faith throughout this entire journey and we love them so much. Please help if you are able. If donations are not an option, Amber and Kody appreciate positive thoughts and prayers as well. Thank you all in advance for helping make their dream a reality.
