My friend and full time coworker Stephanie was in an area of mandatory evacuation from Hurricane Irma. She, her husband and their 8 year old daughter gathered up what little they could fit into the car, including their 2 dogs, and quickly headed out of Florida to stay with family in NC.
Due to the force of Hurricane Irma, their whole house had 4-5 inches of contaminated standing water throughout. Anything that came into contact with the water had to be disposed of. Their clothes, rugs, furniture, etc etc. was mostly gone. Stephanie and her family are currently living with her sister. Its a daunting task facing them to replace everything that was lost.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help Stephanie and her family move forward with their lives.
