Windy's Medical Expenses
Hi, I'm Angela Drummond. I took in a cat who has some serious issues. Windy has severe anxiety, and she needs dental work to remove her upper fangs, which are broken.
Windy has a sad history. Her affinity with people shows that she was once well-loved and cared for. Somehow, she ended up on the streets. A person hit her, probably with an object which broke off one of her fangs at the base. She was also attacked by cats. When I shaved off her mats, I saw many scars on her skin. She is also terrified of cats. Because of this, she has trouble integrating with my cats.
Windy is on anti-anxiety medication, which costs $90 every 20 days. She will need over $1000 worth of dental work to alleviate the pain she must be in. I hope that easing her pain and anxiety will allow her to blend in with her new cat family. However, if she cannot make friends with other cats, she will have to be rehomed somewhere where she can be the only pet. A shelter is willing to find a home for her, but her medical needs must be taken care of before they can take her on.
Won't you help Windy to ease her pain?
