Windows4Opportunity is a powerhouse of charities and organisations with one common goal, providing access to education for people living in direct provision.  Our aim is to provide laptops to people living in Direct Provision whose opportunity to avail of an education has been stunted by their circumstances & lack of access to technology.  900 untapped talents 900 prospects 900 contributions to society 900 hopefuls 900 dreams 900 names 900 names. Without access to technology, your chances of an education and your chances of securing employment are nil. Your opportunity to connect with the outside world does not exist. Sadly, for many students enrolled on courses that have since moved online, their ability to continue their studies is not possible.  Having access to technology will not just allow people access to education and job opportunities, it will instil a sense of hope for their future. A hope that when things change, they will be ready to embrace a new life, a new career and a future full of opportunity. Fundraiser  - The BIG Dip A dip in the ocean perhaps, but your moment of chilly exhilaration could change someone's life! THE BIG DIP  We're currently organising a campaign to raise awareness for #windows4opportunity called The BIG Dip. Www.Recruitrefugeesireland.com/the-big-dip Instagram @thebigdipireland ------- The BIG Dip is a virtual, splishy sploshy fundraiser that aims to provide connection to educational resources for people living in direct provision whilst raising awareness of the need for such vital resources. A great alternative for this year's office party. All you have to do is dip in the sea, photo or video  your dip/swim/dive, tell the world who you're fundraising for and then run like crazy into the sea. Post your pic or your vid to Facebook, Twitter or Instagram @thebigdipireland with the hashtag #windowsforopportunity and make some noise whilst having some fun! We want people in the sea all over Ireland in solidarity with those who have been placed in direct provision.  We recommend you share what you're doing and let the world know what you're up to.  If you don't want to dip you can still donate and if you can't donate, you can still dip! Just be sure to use the hashtag in your posts to bring awareness to the campaign. If you're donating, no matter how big or small, let us know and we'll give you a name from our 900 hopefuls so you can state that you're doing this for THEIR opportunity....right before you throw yourself into the freezing water.
