Trey's Myeloma #winallthetime Fund

Today I make myself a champion, WHATEVER IT TAKES. It will be hard and exhausting but CHAMPIONS make, NO EXCUSES.  Excuses are for the weak and I am strong so through the pain and fatigue I will, FIGHT.  When my body aches and I have no more, Still I will, HUSTLE. I demand this effort from myself and my teammates; Together we will, WIN. Tigers, WIN ALL THE TIME!  These words are more true than ever for our very own Coach Trey Sissom (head football coach at Fort Bend Travis) as he takes on the biggest opponent of his life, Multiple Myeloma.  Trey was diagnosed on January 9th, 2018 and began the fight immediately. (This is a blood cancer that is treatable but at this time, not curable, so this is something he will live with the rest of his life.) He will be having a stem cell transplant in June. Trey is married to Kellie Conner and together they have two children, Dru 13 and Kylie 10.  In Trey's coaching handbook he shares his belief that coaches are tasked with the most important job in the world-molding the youth of today into the leaders of tomorrow.  His mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of the young men and women he is privileged to serve.  He has undoubtedly touched countless lives throughout his coaching career.  Now it is OUR turn to serve him.
