Willy’s MRI and surgery expenses

Our boy Willy suffered a back injury and very suddenly has become very close to paralyzed from mid-back through his back legs. He cannot walk. We need to get an MRI ($2k) to determine whether it is a herniated disc, which the vet thinks it is. If that’s the case, we need to get him surgery which we were quoted $8k for. Willy is only four years old and has so much life left in him and deserves every chance at walking again. We are living off of one income while I am in school and don’t have nearly enough to even get the MRI.
