Will’s Medical-Related Expenses

Hi everyone. This is Michael, Will’s brother. As many of you know, Will was diagnosed with leukemia a few days before Christmas. That is obviously not the kind of news one wants to receive from a doctor. In addition to being the obvious things like scary, stressful, and exhausting, Will’s leukemia is also poised to be a very expensive illness. Will has health insurance, thankfully, but it does not come close to covering all his anticipated medical expenses, like calendar year deductibles. It also doesn’t cover additional, major expenses associated with the illness, like Will’s lost income from being unable to work while still having to pay for fixed monthly costs like rent.
