Please help family after house fire

Donation protected

Please help John, Dafphany and their family of 9 get back on their feet.

Our Son, John Williams, an Army veteran with almost 15 years of service, lost everything in a house fire at Easter. His family including wife, 3 sons, daughter and 3 grandchildren are now displaced.

A fire at a home in the Devonwood neighborhood off Morganton Road this evening displaced nine people, the Fayetteville Fire/Emergency Management Department said.

The fire at 215 Haverill Drive, near Kittridge Drive, was reported at 7:02 p.m.

Heavy smoke was coming from the single-story home when firefighters arrived, a release said.

All the occupants were safely out of the house when firefighters arrived, and there were no problems in putting out the fire.

No injuries were reported to firefighters or any of the occupants, the release said.

“The fire appears to be accidental in nature,” the release said, but no information was given as to where it started and what caused it.
