I am raising funds for myself after a serious car accident while I was working DoorDash deliveries. On my way to my last delivery of the night on Church Road in Bowie, Maryland, my vehicle experienced brake failure and I was involved in a major accident. My car was totaled, and I am deeply grateful that I survived and that no one else was seriously injured. 
 
 
 Since the accident, I have been facing several challenges at once. Losing my vehicle has left me without reliable transportation, and I have also lost my job. That has made it very difficult for me to work, manage daily expenses, and keep up with basic needs like food. On top of that, I am dealing with medical costs from the accident, which has added even more financial pressure during an already difficult time. 
 
 
 The support from this fundraiser will help me purchase another vehicle so I can have dependable transportation again, and it will also help cover my medical expenses and other necessary costs. Having reliable transportation is an important step toward getting back on my feet and working toward financial stability again.
