William "Wes" Beisel Memorial Fund

It is with a heavy heart that the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 109 mourn the untimely and tragic death of Deputy First Class William ‘Wes’ Beisel, whose life was taken too soon.
Wes, a dedicated deputy who selflessly served his community. He was a well-respected mentor and loyal friend that would give you the shirt off his back. Wes loved his family, friends, community, and his law enforcement brothers and sisters. Wes began his career with the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office in January of 2012. He served many roles within the agency to include: Patrol Deputy, Traffic Reconstruction Investigator, FOP Lodge Secretary, Community Action Team (CAT) member, and School Resource Officer (SRO) at Northern High School in Owings, MD. He loved each assignment and was especially fond of interacting with the youth.
Deputy Beisel leaves behind a wife and two sons, ages 5 and 3.
Along with thoughts and prayers, any financial contribution is truly appreciated to assist with the burden his family is faced with. ALL proceeds received from this fund will benefit DFC Beisel’s wife and children.
