Hello, my name is William Loov, and I am a Canadian who was chosen to represent Scotland at the Four Nations International Ice Hockey Tournament in Mechelen, Belgium, in August 2025.

This opportunity is huge — not just for me, but for my family who helped me get here. I was born in Canada but have been British-trained, which allows me to play for Scotland. This is one of the reasons this tournament means so much to me: to see the growth of Scotland’s hockey community and be a part of its role on the international stage.

I am hoping to raise £250 to take part in this event. This money will help cover the costs of the tournament, including travel, accommodation, and food. Even better, Scottish Ice Hockey will match your donation pound for pound, so your support will go twice as far!

For my fundraiser, I will be doing a daily fitness challenge to get into shape:

   •   5 sprints up a hill

   •   5 tire flips

   •   5 box jumps
