As some of you know, Will has been diagnosed with Lymphoma. This horrible journey began at Thanksgiving last year, when Will started to have pain in his back.  He assumed he had pulled a muscle and started seeing a Chiropractor. When the chiropractic visits didn’t help,
he then decided to see an acupuncturist, and this helped short term.

The pain elevated from November to January, to the point that Will could not get off the couch, he had no energy and had lost FORTY (40) pounds.

After an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon, and a MRI that discovered a mass near his spine and many masses all over his organs, the doctor told Will to see an oncologist the next day.

From this point, William has received multiple tests to learn he has Diffuse Large B-cell Lymphoma.

There have been many nights at Conroe Regional and MD Anderson because his kidneys continue to shut down. This is a direct result of the Lymphoma. Will and Margaret have had numerous discussions with MD Anderson and they feel along with their team of doctors at MD Anderson that Will is an ideal candidate for a “trial therapy” drug. They have been told that this drug will give Will an 80% chance of survival. Upon learning that this “trial” was available, the Harrison’s diligently completed all the forms that their insurance company required to learn that their CLAIM WAS DENIED AND THEIR INSURANCE WOULD NOT COVER THIS TREATMENT. The MD Anderson team of doctors lowered Will’s survival rate to 40% without this “trial therapy”.

Will is a father to two kids in 7th and 11th grade, and husband among the many different titles he holds. How could the Harrisons know that his chances of survival would be cut in half and NOT try to cover it on their own?

The decision was made to find a way to pay for the “trial therapy” on their own. The cost of this therapy is a few dollars from $250,000.  This whopping figure does not include the numerous hospital stays or the port that was needed. To date, they have completed phase 1 of the trial and are now starting phase 2.

We believe he is improving with these treatments as he has more energy and his kidneys are functioning better.  Will is making progress and we PRAY that HE WILL DEFEAT this! We ask you to please lift Will in prayer. Our God is mighty and able to Heal.

Please consider donating to this GO FUND ME that was created to help the Harrisons with the financial stress of this time.

James 5:15
And the prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
