William F. Bernard Aviation Scholarship Fund

As a family, we mourn the loss of William Francis Bernard who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the young age of 21. William held a personal pilot license and was looking forward to graduating with a commercial pilot license in May 2022. In honour of William and his passion for flying, the William F. Bernard scholarship is being created through the Ottawa Flying Club to help future pilots make their dreams come true. Throughout William’s young life, he would be the first to support anyone in need, in anyway he could. Memorial donations to the William F. Bernard scholarship will remember and continue William’s legacy in assisting fellow flyers achieve their goal.
