Hello my name is William Cantres, on a fateful day in New York City, attacks of 911 on the World Trade Center, my life was changed forever. I answered the call to help with the search and rescue efforts for a national tragedy. I was born, raised, and educated in New York, always involving myself politically and locally in my community events. I was always helping with those in need at no cost when they were in financial need. Now I need help!
While working at the 911 W.T.C attacks in Downtown Manhattan, I acquired a double lung infection as well as cancer in the throat. On July 7th, 2022, I was given a gift of two lungs. I am constantly in the hospital at Jackson Transplant Institute in Miami Florida. I am getting a lot of bills from operations and cancer treatments, also a lifetime of medications that I need for the rest of my life to live. (Out of pocket). I am in need of transportation, financial help, as well as home care, that is not being covered by insurance.
