Cinematographer Will Harris (who just returned to town from celebrating a birthday) was shooting a music video at 11 pm on May 22 in Downtown Minneapolis near the Hennepin Bridge by the parkway, when two black male suspects in what is to be believed as a 1998 Silver Ford Taurus jumped out of their vehicle with handguns and proceeded to chase him and three other males. Will and another person ran west on the parkway and ended up evading the suspects and hid in the dark bushes by the river. Will put his camera down and ran, but the guy he was recording with picked it up in hopes of not getting it taken. They were then hiding in some bushes when the man that he was recording thought he heard the shooters coming so he threw the camera in a part of the woods where he thought it was ground, but did not know it was the actual water and it went into the river. He called 911, reported the incident to cops that arrived on scene, but his camera was missing. Will is a great person and he was just trying to save his life. His videos help inspire people, help people capture their struggles, charitable work with companies such as United Way, Dorothy Day Center and more, cinematic weddings and stories of life. This is just to help raise money to get his Sony fs700 camera back that he lost, plus the lens and equipment that he spent years saving to get. Any donation will be appreciated even if it was a dollar, let's get Will Harris productions back running! Thank you kindly...
