After an optimistic and full-term pregnancy, Thea Margret Tebbenhoff was born to Heather and Will Tebbenhoff 4/16/20 at the Martha Jefferson Sentara Hospital in Charlottesville, VA..
It was recognized by the delivery room staff, that Thea was under stress. She was found to have an infection in her blood and lungs. Immediately, efforts were made to stabilize and improve he status. However soon thereafter, the Doctors at the hospital chose to have Thea transported to the NIC Unit at the University of Virginia Medical Center. Many efforts were made to ameliorate the infection but were unsuccessful. Will and Heather were finally able to hold her, but she passed away the next day.
Today we grieve for Heather and Will and this unfortunate loss.
This campaign's goal is to help alleviate the financial pain and recovery accompanying this unfortunate tragedy for Heather and Will. Above and beyond the costs associated with a birth, there are now numerous expenses associated with the additional care that was provided. Our goal is to raise $15,000. To help Will and Heather with these costs. Donations are greatly appreciated and will surely help.
