Teresa, a single mom of 3 found black mold in her crawl space in November 2019. She has been fighting a losing battle with the insurance company ever since and is being told that it could be 3-5 years before anything is settled. After the insurance company made numerous errors and instructed her not clean it up, Now nearly one year later, their house and all their possessions are not salvageable. The last mold report stated there is 36,650 toxic mold spores in one room, there were only 14 mold spores in that same room last November.
Teresa, Katie (19), Clarissa (17) & Caroline (14) have been homeless for nearly a year. She has tried everything to get insurance to pay since the loss was caused from the air conditioner and is listed as a covered loss.
After living with friends for a few months, the family of 4 and two of their dogs have been living in a 100 sq. ft. 2003 motorhome, but clearly they can not do this for much longer, especially with winter coming.
This money will go towards helping replace clothes, shoes, coats that were lost, as well as help with putting a roof over their head.
Please considering making a donation to help this beautiful family.
