My name is Preston Turner and I am a student at Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk, North Carolina. I am currently studying Wildlife Rehabilitation and Pre-Vet Science, but during Christmas break of 2019 I am offered the chance to attend an educational trip to New Zealand and it's various wildlife rehabilitation and research centers located on the island. The rehabilitation centers offer medical care for injured native animals of New Zealand and then allow them to be released back into the wild health and happy. While the research centers allow insight into the ecosystem. The trip costs a total of $6,300, but the very first payment of $2,500 is due on January 25th. Being a full-time student makes it hard to focus on keeping my grades up and working enough hours to earn that much money to go. Being able to attend this trip would mean so much to me as it would allow me to learn about new cultures as well as expand on the knowledge that I have about wildlife rehabilitation. If you would be willing to help, anything given would be very helpful and even if you don't donate anything thank you for just taking the time to look at my gofundme.
