My name is Molly, and this Summer I will be volunteering through the GIVE organization to take a 27 day voyage ot SouthEast Asia. I will experience Thailand, the gateway to SE Asia, before crossing over the border into Laos, the best-kept secret in SE Asia. In Laos, I will travel from the elaborate temples and French architecture of Luang Prabang to the rugged mountainous landscape of Sop Chem village to volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary, meditate with monks in a monastery, zip-line through the forest canopy, and empower rural communities every step of the way! GIVE’s SE Asia Package will expand my positive impact and allow me to experience everything this beautiful and fascinating region of the world has to offer.
GIVE's volunteers work on sustainable development projects, that are designed to make a lasting difference: Through improving infrastructure, like basic structures and facilities. Your dollar will aid in the implentation of roads and buildings, and could increase educational opportunities by aiding in the construction of school houses. It will Implement freshwater systems and protecting endangered wildlife.
We partner closely with our host communities to drive these changes, so that when we are gone, our impact can continue.
