<div>We visited our home recently. This picture shows Emma and I, in full protective gear, standing in the middle of what was our home which no longer exists.

<div>Despite everything, Arianna, Emma and I are in good spirits. The girls have each had their own way of dealing with the loss of our home and community, but all together we are resilient and grateful. The cats (Tino and Leo) are adjusting to their new home too and doing well. Living with family temporarily has been cozy ;) and healing for all of us. We are so grateful to our family for sheltering us.

During some darker days, it was your support, your words, your kindness that lifted us up and helped us get through the day.
