PTSD Service Dog

I am Annelise Wilchowy and I am creating this go fund me page because my stepmom christa wilchowy is in need of a $20,000 service dog for PTSD and dissociation. She has been struggling with dissociating in stressful situations which cause memory loss and not staying in the moment (autopilot turns on).  Triggers that cause flashbacks, going out in public by herself, driving alone, and even being outside in her yard by herself.  She startles easily and has reoccurring nightmares. It has been hard for her to reach out to people or let people know what she is struggling with and for how long. 

Just recently she was diagnosed with Chronic PTSD and is looking for different ways to help herself cope in a healthy way on her own.  With all of us kids getting close to the age of moving out, the need for this type of companionship will be an important coping strategy.
