Estranged wife took his kids

Help us get Sammy's kids home where they belong! I received a phone call late last night from a man I have known for 40+ years. He was on the verge of hysteria because his estranged wife and the sheriff showed up at his house and demanded he turn his two little girls and little boy over or face arrest. The sheriff had no court documents giving him permission to do so, just "My supervisor ok'd it" when Sammy asked why this was happening.




You see, Sammy's much-younger-wife of 10 years ran off a year ago with a co-worker and left their three children with their Daddy as she moved several counties away with the new boyfriend. Despite the struggles of working and being a single dad, Sammy managed to clothe, feed, and love those three children as much if not more than two parents could ever do. He has dealt with the children's nightmares, their abandonment issues, and rocked them to sleep as they cried wanting to know why Mommy just left without saying a word to them. Life was finally getting back on track and the nightmares subsiding.



Well, the first boyfriend is out of the picture and a new one is in her life. She is still living several counties away, but she has demanded to see the kids a day here and there the past month, which Sammy has begrudgingly permitted because he knows how important dads AND moms are to young children.

When she has shown up for a visit, they cry, scream and beg Daddy not to make them go. Last weekend, they came home with bruises. Being a single dad and seasonal worker in the air conditioner business, Sammy did not have the money for a lawyer to file for sole custody and wanted a lawyer before he contacted CPS. His estranged wife must have been worried about the bruises she inflicted because she concocted a story saying Sammy abused the kids and needed the sheriff's help to get HER kids out of an abusive situation with a dirty, old man. All lies!!!



This is where we come in. Sammy needs our help to raise funds to get an attorney to get the children back into the only loving home they have ever known. If you cannot give financially at this time, please share his story and pray the legal system does something before it is too late for these 3 babies who need their Daddy!
