Jeremy, Missy, Ryden, age 4, & Logan age 2, bought their dream home less than 2 yrs. ago. Bobby, who has been in our family since he was in school with Jeremy, has lived with them for some time now. Jeremy just recovered from Covid-19. At 12:17 a.m. on June 25, 2020, I answered the phone to learn that the house was on fire. We went to them immediately. They all physically are fine, with no injuries except some small smoke inhalation in Jeremy & Bobby. However, the house was not so lucky. There is fire, smoke & a lot of water damage. While we do not know until it gets light out & we can return to assess the damage further, we do know they have lost their beds & some living room furniture. It started upstairs & appears thus far to be an electrical fire. We know that so far, it appears Bobby has lost almost everything. We were fortunate to find a pair of his shoes, as they were almost all barefoot. There are also broken windows & structural damage.
Missy has working from home so will need to assess the electronics she uses. Jeremy was just cleared to return to work, however, his job would not wait for the official return to work letter, so he is applying for work. Bobby has been unable to work, as the store he worked at in St. Paul was looted and burned.
My 3 children & my grandson's are currently with us but they are going to need further help.
