Queridos amigos, familiares y comunidad,

Estamos desconsolados al anunciar el fallecimiento de nuestra mamá. Ella fue una fuente de amor, sabiduría y alegría infinitos en nuestras vidas. A pesar de nuestras esperanzas de que sus tratamientos contra el cáncer siguieran ayudando, finalmente dejaron de funcionar. Falleció el 13 de noviembre rodeada de tanta gente que la amaba. Ella no solo fue una madre para nosotros, sino también una madre para muchos otros, siempre ofreciendo su amor, apoyo y orientación. Para honrar sus deseos, estamos planeando devolverla a México para que pueda ser enterrada junto a su propia madre. Este proceso implica gastos importantes, incluidos transporte, servicios funerarios y costos de entierro. El año pasado ha sido muy duro para nosotros financieramente. No pude trabajar porque fui su cuidadora de tiempo completo hasta su último momento. Mi hermano actualmente está trabajando en su PharmD y solo puede trabajar unas pocas horas al mes debido a su agenda muy ocupada. Aunque sabíamos que este día podría llegar, no estamos en absoluto preparados. Estamos lidiando con la parte emocional de perder a nuestro mayor amor y tener que conseguir el dinero para la despedida que se merece. Nos estamos acercando a nuestros amigos, familiares y comunidad en busca de apoyo para ayudar a cubrir los costos del funeral. Cualquier contribución, por pequeña que sea, marcará una diferencia significativa y nos permitirá honrar su memoria con la dignidad y el respeto que se merece. We are heartbroken to announce the passing of our mom. She was a source of endless love, wisdom, and joy in our lives. Despite our hopes that her cancer treatments would continue to help, they ultimately stopped working. She passed on November 13th surrounded by so many people who loved her. She was not only a mom to us but also a mom to so many others, always offering her love, support and guidance.

In honoring her wishes, we are planning to return her to Mexico so she can be buried alongside her own mother. This process involves significant expenses, including transportation, funeral services, and burial costs. This past year has been really hard on us financially. I was unable to work being that I was her full time caregiver up to her last moment. My brother is currently working on his PharmD and is only able to work a few hours a month, due to his very busy schedule. Although we knew this day might come, we are completely unprepared. We are dealing with the emotional part of losing our greatest love and having to come up with the money for the send off that she deserves.

We are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support to help cover the funeral costs. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference and allow us to honor her memory with the dignity and respect she deserves.
