These times have been wild, haven’t they? WI-LD.
Toxic and oppressive systems and cultures are being challenged left and right, and more of us have awakened to the fact that something has to change.
And while most of us agree that change has to happen, few of us know what that change actually means, what it actually looks like, who’s responsible for it or where it needs to start. It's a lot.
What now?
I'll only ever be able to answer that question for myself, but I've had two key realizations that could help you as you explore your what now:
We are the system and the revolution, AND we have all we need to co-create the world we dream.
Because the only way we'll create new worlds is together. Which means we have to do the work of dreaming, planning, building, and dismantling together.
However, in all my time doing this work, I haven't found a place that does this work in full integrity. But I aim to change that with a vision for over 5 years.
It’s called Whole / Self-Liberation, and there’s nothing out there like it.
An online school where folks can heal, grow, get free, and get resourced to be the living revolution in their work, lives, and communities.
It’s a training ground equipped to support you as you discover what’s yours to contribute to in your unique corner of the world, with your unique gifts, capacities, and available resources.

PRACTICE IS AT THE HEART OF WHOLE / SELF LIBERATION
It took me YEARS of experimenting, learning, and practicing how to bring about more liberation in the world to figure out that it’s not about WHAT you do, but HOW you do it.
That’s why a practice that regards the humanity, wholeness, sovereignty, responsibility, and power of every team member, every teacher, and every participant is at the core of everything we do at Whole / Self Liberation.
We baked this practice into the school model in 3 core ways:
1. Making WSL as accessible as possible to as many people as possible, both in terms of accessing the content due to disabilities by making sure content is differentiated, and implementing a monthly Pay-What-You-Choose tuition structure with subscriptions that start at $10.
2. Ensuring that WSL is wholly sustainable and nourishing for the WSL Team and Teachers, in regards to their time, capacity, and finances. We want our team and teachers to show up for this work as nourished, resourced as possible. And we know that can’t happen if they're worried about making ends meet because their time is taken up by this labor of love. We’re fundraising so that we can pay them to create the work upfront.
3. Rooting into a liberatory praxis, meaning that we are deeply committed to a practice of living, action, and reflection to ensure that our living practices wholly align to our integrity in how we run our organization, create and hold space for our students, and live our personal lives.
Whole / Self-Liberation is a BIG deal, and it requires BIG funding to make happen at its highest integrity.

And every minute of their labor deserves abundant compensation.

About the School
Over the course of 18-week classes, people like you and I will explore y(our) liberation, y(our) wholeness, y(our) power in a multitude of ways.
In the first Season (our version of a semester), you’ll find classes on
- living your purpose
- using your voice for social change
- reclaiming your creativity
- sustainable beauty & skincare
- unlearning classism
- being with grief
- radical parenting
- and more.
You’ll get to learn from a diverse group of teachers who represent many intersectional identities from disabled, black, brown, white, indigenous, trans, cis, nonbinary, and genderqueer to people who are dedicated healers, facilitators, coaches, artists, writers, witches, parents, and community organizers, from the U.S. and Europe.
But the coolest part is that each one of our teachers is committed to moving about the world in liberatory ways and demonstrated the skills and capacity to co-create the liberatory space and culture we’re aiming for here at WSL.

I've been holding Whole / Self Liberation in my heart since 2015. And as much as this feels like my baby, it’s not just mine.
It’s ours.
It’s a co-creation and a living offering to the collective with the intent to make accessible the inner and relational work necessary to create more humanizing, more sustainable, and more liberatory worlds.
Because at the end of the day, all I want is for us all to be free, but...
The only way we can get free is together.
