My name is Jaime Zurzolo, I am currently a second year student studying Film & Television at the University of Colorado, Denver. My newest film endeavor is a documentary about the disturbing true story of the murder of a child in a small rural logging town.
In 1951 Orrin Wood found the body of 12 year old Lonnie Jones with his throat slit from ear to ear. Although Orrin didn't murder the boy he became the prime suspect in the investigation and wound up spending several weeks in jail. Over 50 years later, the case remains unsolved.
My film crew (Wesley Cassford, Molly White & Jack Toltz) and I are travelling from Denver, Colorado to Weippe, Idaho March 16th to 24th. We will be meeting and interviewing many people that were involved with or knew about the case and revisiting the scene of the crime.
The money raised will be used for food, gas, and housing on our trip. We are extremely grateful for anything you can donate towards this film. Everyone who donates will be featured in the end credits of our film as sponsors.
