Whitesel's Emergency Medical Fund

Ian Whitesel was on a Spring Break trip of a lifetime with his grandparents. They were going to see Machu Picchu in Peru. About an hour after he got off of the plane he started having severe abdominal pain and uncontrollable vomiting. Ian was taken to the ER only to find out later that evening he had to have an emergency splenectomy. Apparently Ian's Sickle Cell Trait in combination with the  High Altitude caused  his spleen to enlarge. The spleen they removed was 6 times it's original size and 2/3 of it was already dead when they removed it.  
As soon as Ian was stable they had to get him out of the High Altitude where he was. 
Ian was air lifted from Cusco, Peru to Lima, Peru yesterday where he remains in the hospital.
The medical expenses have been mounting up.  Lance and Jen's insurance will cover some of these expenses but they have a high deductible and the airlift plane ride for Ian alone was $13,000. 
Please donate if you can.  The money raised will be spent on these medical expenses and any medical visits needed for Ian when he returns home.
