Meet our Midwest Fluffy Butt Team. Every year we strut our fluffy curly Akita butts to raise money for B.E.A.R. Our butts wiggle more when we receive donation to help all the orphan Akitas. B.E.A.R offers them a second chance to be healthy and loved. Read about our team members below.
Morgan and Emmett – We can’t wait to walk with our friends to help out all the orphan Akitas at Big East Akita Rescue. We have a nice warm cozy home, and a family that loves us. We are going to do our best to raise money to make sure the orphans have what they need until they go to their forever home too.
Katniss – My mom didn’t know when she named me, I would live up to my name and be a GREAT hunter. I take pride in hunting bugs..yep bugs and a “few” rodents as well. I am best known for my stunt at the Akita National when I was SO..happy and bounced around the ring. Everyone laughed except mom. One of my favorite things to do is walk in the woods and now I get to do what I love and raise money to help the BEAR orphans.
Bear - Yes, I am an American Stanford but I “love” my Akita friends. Years ago, I was a rescue dog. I found a wonderful family. For this reason, every year we walk to raise money for the BEAR orphans. The real reason is, I just want to hang with my Akita pack for the day. We have SO much fun together!!
Barron- I lived in a puppy mill until BEAR saved me. At night I would dream of having a soft bed and food. BEAR granted my wish, I have a mom, toys and soft beds. I enjoying going for walks with my mom this year we are to raise money for all the BEAR orphans who are waiting for a soft bed. Oh..just to let you know I will be hunting for squirrels while I am on the Whisker Walk. Don’t tell my mom!!
Pilot- Last year I joined the Whisker Walk when I was a baby. This year I am 1 years old. I have grown really big since then. I can’t wait to raise money for all the Bear orphans. I am a handsome man I am hoping my good looks gets me LOTS of donations.
