Veteran and his family in need
Back in 2008 my husband's life changed forever. He was injured in the military and life as he new it has since not been the same since. He suffers from PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) and TBI (traumatic brain injury). This prevents him from working and being able to do things he used to love to do. Recently our family purchased a home. We have come to find out that there was so much covered up and now needs to be repaired. With our large family of 7 and expecting twins (our second set!) in December around the time of my husband's and my birthday (Christmas!), money is already tight. We do not get any assistance through the state. So everything we buy we pay cash for. Making the repairs very slowly coming along. We have been given two deadline to get some of the outside repairs done. To get them to code. One date being October 15th and the other Novermber 15th. This isn't something I would normally do. I just feel like at this point in our lives, we have truly hit a wall with no where else to turn. I am asking if you can please help us raise money so we can make the needed repairs to our home. So we do not get fined. Anything will help. As a bonus, I would like to do a live drawing at the end of our goal, for every $25 donated, you will be enteres to win a family 6 pack of tickets to The Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia. Also 6 tickets into there new exhibit Dinosaurs Unearthed. These tickets are good till January 16 2017. So once our goal is met or we go past the 2 dead line dates.
