"Help Support Wheylan!"

Congratulations to Ali and Cory on the arrival of their beautiful little boy Wheylan, born on March 28!  Wheylan has had some significant complications from birth, and was flown to NICU at BC Children’s Hospital two days after he was born. The resources there are amazing and everyone is working towards getting him healthy and thriving, but after some diagnostic tests, Ali and Cory are now expecting an extended stay there.
As I’m sure everyone can imagine it is a very difficult situation for a new family to navigate, and they are putting all of their energy into loving and caring for their precious newborn in Vancouver. It is a full time job being attentive to Wheylan’s needs and also looking after each other.
We ask if friends and family feel the desire to help alleviate some of their financial worries to please donate on this page. We also ask that friends can leave messages of love, positivity, and hope on this post, so Ali and Cory can view them at their leisure. They value their privacy during this time, and often don’t have time to respond to texts and messages at the moment.
