Where There’s Smoke There’s Fire

On Sunday, Nov. 5, our dryer caught on fire. We were very fortunate that no one, and no pets, were injured. However, we did lose practically everything that we own. The smoke damage was colossal and has ruined everything from curtains to furniture to bedding to clothes. The impact is colossal and I didn’t appreciate how much damage smoke could do. We are temporarily living in a hotel and are unable to re-enter the property at this time. I have signed on a new place and we are moving this week, but the expenses add up very quickly. My loved ones at work bullied me into creating this account, they know how stubborn I am and that I never ask for help, but they love me and they’re incredible people, so here I am. Hopefully insurance will eventually make this right, but in the meantime the situation still exists. Love you all and thanks for reading!
