We are raising money for Women’s Aid Ireland and U.K. The Covid 19 lockdown has lead to the rise in domestic violence and abuse globally. We have chosen to raise money for a Women’s Aid Ireland and Women's Aid UK who both provide vital services to women and children in need of support.

“We work to make women and children safe from domestic violence, offer support, provide hope to women affected by abuse and work for justice and social change. Over the course of 40 years the organisation has built up a huge body of experience and expertise on the issue, enabling us to best support women and children and share this knowledge with other agencies responding to women experiencing domestic violence.”

“Women are the overwhelming majority of victims of domestic abuse. Domestic abuse is a violation of women and their children’s human rights. It is the result of an abuse of power and control, and is rooted in the historical status and inequality of women in society.”
