When Insurance fails...God prevails

WHEN INSURANCE FAILS, GOD PREVAILS......In a short time frame life has changed for Doug Wayland and his family. Doug Wayland was diagnosed with stage 3 renal cell carcinoma that has intruded into the vena cava (vein that carries blood back to the heart). Doug has chosen to stand on his faith and know that God is good. Life became an instant whirlwind with Dr appts, multiple blood draws, new medical terminology and scan after scan to find out a plan of care. Finally progress is being made and surgery is scheduled with 2 urologist and a cardiothoracic surgeon for June 6th. Today Doug was notified that insurance will not pay for the cardiothoracic surgeon because he is "out of network". As a surgical nurse I have heard this a thousand times. I know the impact of stress this adds to this precious family. This family has volunteered so much time to our community, church and school district. Let's take this opportunity to show when Insurance fails, God prevails. Please lift the Wayland family up in prayers.
   This account has been set up to offset medical expenses not paid by insurance, insurance premiums, meals and every day life expenses.
