When He Calls, You Go!

As the end of senior year approaches I cannot help but reflect on the incredible experience my teaching journey has been throughout my four years at Grove City College. For those of you who have not heard, I have accepted a position at KIPP Academy in Columbus Ohio, serving an incredible population of students who deserve to know that college is more than just a dream, but in fact a tangible reality given the right support. I am beyond excited to begin my career at such an incredible institution who truly values their students and supports their educators in an inspiring way!

God has opened this path before me and has clearly shown me that through Him all things are possible. I have been blessed to secure a place to live, a mere 15 minutes away from my school, and with two amazing, God loving gals who have been such an encouragement to me and a blessing as I prepare to make the move to a new state.

God has promised that every need will be met for those who ask and for those who are clearly walking in the way He has set before them. I know He has divided the sea to get me to Columbus and He will not fail me now. Which brings me to this go fund me page:

I have recently gone through the process of outlining my expenses for the summer up until my first paycheck from KIPP Academy. I must humbly confess that it is a scary moment to realize that even when the path is clear, the road is going to be rocky.

I humbly come before those of you who have been a part of my journey and I ask you to consider donating to my “summer financial plan”  to help me move to Columbus and pay for my Ohio Teaching Certification. God is powerful and provides in amazing ways! If you feel called to be a part of that amazing way, I would be incredibly grateful for your financial support.


Above all, I need your prayer. Change is coming and it is coming fast. I am blessed to have an incredible support system and fierce prayer warriors on my team and I cannot thank you enough for covering this transition time and my first year of teaching in prayer! My goal is to raise 2,000 dollars by May 19, which can be broken down into the following expenses:

$200.00 PA Teaching Certification Fee

$105.00 Ohio Pedagogical Test Fee

$105.00 Ohio English Test Fee

$160.00 Ohio Teaching Certification Fee

$650.00 Rent and Utilities per month --- I have saved enough to cover 4 of the 5 months I am without a paycheck! Praise the Lord for His provision of a job while at school!

$780.00 First Student Loan Payment
