Wheels For Caleb Hatfield
Caleb is my 10 year old cousin and suffers from Cerebral Palsy. He has a feeding tube and must be suctioned frequently. He has been under the care of his grandparents since April 2011. This page was created to request assistance with purchasing a wheelchair accessible van for his grandfather to be able to take him to doctor appointments in Huntington Wv and Lexington KY.
Caleb is a sweet little boy who knows nothing but love. He is a precious gift from God and is in desperate need of this van.
Caleb's grandfather's 2001 Toyota Rav 4 has over 307k miles and he needs a wheelchair equipped van to transport Caleb, his wheelchair, and all his medical equipment. His Grandfather is a Vietnam Veteran and cares for Caleb full-time. Caleb has grown to be over 60 pounds now and over 4 feet tall! It's a struggle for his grandfather to load him and his equipment into this little SUV.
Another note regarding Caleb. He is the great great great grandson of Preacher Anse Hatfield who was the judge who oversaw the Hog Trial of the Hatfield & McCoy Feud.
