Hello I am Mitzi Adderley Shepherd
In September 2013 I had a knee replacement and I contracted a staph infection. After a year of trying to save the leg I was informed after a hospital admission for an infection in the leg that the leg had to amputate . Ok, so what is wrong with Mitzi Dawn Adderley? Ok here goes I am an above knee amputee, I have Lupus and severe peripheral neuropathy. I am on a feeding tube because for the last year I have gastro- paresis. My digestive system has decided to shut down. I weigh about 125lbs, other than that I am still the loud, obnoxious woman that I have always been. I can’t walk remember I have just one leg. I’m raising money for a fake leg, I don’t trust the ones on Ebay. I also need a hospital bed with a trapeze bar. My 77 year old Mom has to lift me by herself. A proper bed and bar would be a tremendous help to us. It would make taking care of me 24/7a little easier. I love food but I don’t get to eat it, everything must go through my feeding tube. No , the Ham and Turkey does not fit. So all I ask is that you continue to love me and bear with my pictures of me looking crazy. My Glam squad quit so this is me live and raw.
