Wheelchair Ramp for my brother

I’m not one to put personal life info out there but honestly need some help for my sweet brother Russell.  Many of you know him. He’s been a Chef in Arkansas since 1983! At Wilson World, PB Convention Center,  Rosswood Country Club, Walnut Lake Country Club, Cafe St. Moritz, Monticello Country Club and most recently for the past 7 years at the Red Apple Inn. He suffered a stroke in April and has been back and forth from Baptist Rehabilitation, to Southridge in Heber Springs then back to Baptist. Then discharged because insurance will not pay for any more inpatient services. 

He can’t walk unassisted and only has partial use of his right hand. He is in a wheelchair. He’s not married, so no wife or children to help him. I am his only sibling living in the state, my sisters and one brother live in Hawaii, as well as my mother & step father and the other brother lives in Las Vegas. So I’ve been staying with him to help in all ways that I can.  Still doing PT and OT with a great group of peeps at Ivy in Heber Springs.  Of course now he has no income and social security is on the way but won’t start until October. 

He needs a wheelchair ramp built so he can get out  if I’m not there incase of an emergency and to make it easier going to his appointments.  It’s a much bigger expense than we thought it would be. I am hoping and praying his friends & colleagues along with my friends and colleagues will help him out during this time of true need.
