Power Wheelchair for Clark Chauke

Hi my name is Clark Chauke I am 12 years old and I love playing basketball in my wheelchair.  

I have had the same wheelchair since I was 7 years old and now it’s too small for me.  I use my wheelchair every day at school and to play wheelchair basketball.  At home, because the chair is too small, I crawl to get around.  It hurts to squeeze into my chair, sit in it and manoeuvre throughout my day.  I do my best to live each day like any other kid but a lot of my day is tough because my body hurts when I try to use my chair so I have to crawl to get around.

For the most part, I am so happy to have the life I have and I don’t want anyone to feel sorry for me. Normally I wouldn’t ask but I need help because my chair is worn out it hurts my body and it makes it impossible for me to play basketball anymore for my fitness and fun.  

So today, I am asking for people to help me be a normal a kid .  My parents are doing their very best but wheelchairs are expensive.  They have found a wheelchair that is durable and fits well.  When I get a new chair, I will be able to wheel myself around at home and school and of course I can get back to playing basketball and other sports again!!  So please will you help me play with my friends again?  Every little bit helps.  Thank you so much for listening.
