Help Displaced Woodgrain Employees

Donation protected
Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by Hurricane Harvey and the devastation resulting from the storm.  Our Houston warehouse was not flooded, but a few Woodgrain employees did have to flee their homes.  Most were able to find higher ground, but at least one Woodgrain associate had to be rescued  by authorities from rising floodwaters.  All Woodgrain associates and their families are now safe and accounted for, but a few of those displaced from their homes are facing numerous challenges.  Some are dealing with the immediate needs of finding a safe place to stay in the short and long-term.  Soon they will be facing the realities of the loss of personal property.
Many Woodgrain employees from across the company have asked what they can do to help.  This site is set up to create a place where we can make donations to help our coworkers.  All funds raised will go directly to help Woodgrain employees in need with expenses for disaster relief and recovery.
Due to the immediate needs of these individuals, this funding campaign will only be open for 10 days, closing on September 10th.

GoFundMe requires that I include the following information:
Campaign Organizer: Chad P. Smith
My Location: Fruitland, ID (Corporate Headquarters of Woodgrain Millwork)
Beneficiaries of this Campaign: Employees of Woodgrain in the Houston area most affected by Hurricane Harvey and related flooding.
My Relationship to the Beneficiaries: VPHR at Woodgrain Millwork.
How the Funds will be Dispersed: All funds raised will go directly to help Woodgrain employees in need with expenses for disaster relief and recovery. All GoFundMe funds will be deposited to an account set-up/owned by Woodgrain and then checks will be cut through A/P to employees.  Priority will be first, to those in need of funds for immediate shelter/housing.  Second, any remaining funds will be distributed to help offset the cost of intermediate housing.  Third, to help with the replacement of personal property due to flood damage in the home.
Priority will be given to those most significantly impacted due to displacement from their homes.
