Scammers that target Seniors Suck!

I created this account to help raise money for my dad who was recently targeted by an online scammer.  This particular scammer promised to fix his computer under the guise of a remote IT worker.  By the end of it all this scammer stripped my dads only savings down to just a few hundred dollars and who knows if his computer ever actually got worked on.  I am hoping that his computer he uses for his art was not compromised, but it may have been.  I am working to replace that as soon as possible.

My father lives off of wages from part-time employment, working happily several months out of the year for a non-profit, more when it is available.  He also lives off a modest amount from social security.   I am raising money to help him pay his rent and get back on his feet. 

My dad normally loves going dancing, riding his scooter, acupuncture and making watercolor paintings.  All of which are on hold until he gets back on his feet.  I know there are much larger, scarier and more urgent things happening in peoples lives every day.  And I'm sure my dad would not want me to ask anyone for a dime on his behalf.  But I am putting this out there as an act of faith in our ever spinning, wild but wonderful universe.  Even a few dollars helps.  Thank you for your time!
