My names Luke and i'm Dad to Brannon and this is his story.
When speaking with Bran when he expressed about having his locks cut. (honestly the photo doesn't do justice to how long his hair actually is) As much as I was shocked as his hair has always been a sort of comfort for him, I told him of a pupil in the school I work at who had hair as long as his. I said how brave and proud of the pupil we were in work and how he helped to raise funds for charity and also donated his hair to those in need. I explained which charity and how the charity works and what it stands for and Bran expressed how he would love to try and help those in need and any way shape or form.
We are working in close conjunction with 2 barbers at BauHaus in Cardiff and looking at a 24th May event. We are also hoping to have a videographer on board to document the process.
With that said, Brannon would appreciate it if you were to join him in making a difference? Brannon is raising money to benefit The Little Princess Trust, and any donation will help make an impact.
More information about The Little Princess Trust: When a child loses their hair to cancer, they'll be there with a free, real hair wig to help restore their confidence and identity. You can help us give hair and hope to children and young people, by funding real hair wigs and ground-breaking childhood cancer research projects.
Any help, donations, well wishes or support would be greatly appreciated and well received.
Thank you to everyone who has already helped or expressed and interest. It really does mean a lot.
