As most of you might know, I live in Dallas and have an office in Houston and visit them regularly; I have learned that 2 of our agents, have had severe losses.
We have a couple of teammates whose house is at the end of the road of the picture and have been told they will not be able to get to their house for a month at minimum.
We have another member of the team that was "temporarily displaced" from her job, as the area she works at is flooded and businesses will not reopen for a few weeks.
And several others who suffered some flooding to their houses, thankfully those need repairs to the house but at leaset they are home.
All of them are greatful for being alive and for being able to now volunteer to help others.
The money raised will go to help them buy clothing and basic necessity items for them and their families, while they are allowed to go back to their home. Once we get 50% of the fund we will give them WalMart cards so they can purchase these items
As WFG/Momen2m we want to help this individuals directly. We know WFG is matching donations made to big fundraisers, but the reality is that will not impact our people directly and they still would need the basic care items.
