WeWalk Cane for Kim and Joe Kuster
Donation protected
Kim and Joe Kuster are so amazing, and the most selfless, giving people I know. They both have used the fact that they are blind to help others who are blind! They have had a group called "Oasis for the Visually Impaired" at Orland Park Church for many years, and recently moved to Mokena, where they have also started a new Oasis group! They help those who have lost their sight or are visually impaired to navigate in the sighted world. The WeWalk cane that I would like to get for them could make a huge difference in their new surroundings! It’s equipped with built-in speakers, a voice assistant, Google, and sensors that send vibrations to warn about obstacles above chest level, and will soon be capable to call for a ride! Kim told me that they would never ask others for money! So I am asking, because I know there are many, like me, who would love to do anything for them! Although they could share a WeWalk cane (cost is $499.00), it would be ideal if they each had a cane. For this reason, I am hoping to raise $1,000 so they can each have a WeWalk Cane. Thank you for anything you can contribute. Feel free to check out the cane at their website, wewalk.io.
