We've never done this sort of thing before and hate to do so now, but our family needs help.

Last Monday my daughter's 8 week old baby boy, Weston, suddenly stopped breathing. I performed CPR and got him breathing again while my daughter called 911. Since then Weston has been in the PICU at McLane's Children's hospital in Temple, Tx. He has been hooked up to oxygen and tons of monitors while undergoing tests to determine what's causing his apnea and constant vomiting. So far doctors haven't been able to find the cause, but think there is something wrong with his brain. Weston has stopped breathing several times this week but they've been able to get him breathing again each time. We thought he was doing better and would be coming home today, but about 10pm last night he stopped breathing again for well over a minute. 

My daughter and her husband haven't left the hospital all week. Her husband is a mechanic who works strictly on commission...which means he isn't getting paid. I have had to take unpaid time from work to care for their 16 month old daughter, Maizie. Unfortunately we don't really have any other options to make sure everyone is being cared for. My daughter's husband will be going back to work this week but I will still be staying home with the toddler and spending days at the hospital (which is 40 miles away) with my daughter and the baby. 

We live paycheck to paycheck and already struggle so neither of us getting paid for this time means we are struggling even to buy food, much less pay utilities and car payments. Hopefully Weston will be able to come home in a few days (with lots of medical equipment!) But until then we could really use y'alls help!
